CFBPoints Will Offer Members Additional Rewards

Share

CFBPoints
A new rewards system for members of CFBPredictions will begin with the start of the 2009 college football season. The system will award points, called CFBPoints, to members for things like finishing with a high standing in prediction contests or performing various actions on the site.

The points system is a new way that CFBPredictions will reward participants in addition to the cash prizes that are already given out to winners of the various prediction contests! Members will also be able to earn points for referring new members to the site and earn a percentage of their referral's points for as long as they remain a member. There is no limit to how many points a member can earn and points will never expire so your points balance at the end of a college sports season will still be there the next season. There will be many different ways to earn points and new ways will be added in as we continue to develop and implement new avenues for members to earn. We hope this will provide even more value to our members while they follow college sports!

New for 2010, cash-in your CFBPoints

Beginning with the 2010-2011 season, members will be able to cash-in CFBPoints through PayPal. Once you have accumulated at least 10,000 points, you will be able to cash-in your points at the current exchange rate. See current exchange rate at bottom of page. To cash-in, click Buy/Sell Points on the user menu.

Current contest rewards and new action rules are displayed below. You can reference this page at any time to see what the current values are and what the exchange rate is.

Pool Contest Access Will Use CFBPoints

CFBPoints have become the payment system for members to access Pool contests. To enter the Top 25 Weekly Pool or NCAA Weekly Pool, members can either use the points they earn or buy points instantly from the user menu for a shot at a peice of the weekly cash prize pool. The cost of an entry is 10,000 points which is a $10 value. Be aware that your points will be deducted immediately upon entering one of these contests so do not click an entry link to these contests if you do not intend to play the current week. As you can see, the points you earn have a real dollar value -- 1,000 points equal one dollar. As of right now, the points can only be traded in for Pool contest entries, however, we plan on adding in spending options in the future. Stay tuned!

New for 2010: The Top 25 Weekly Challenge and NCAA Weekly Challenge are now using CFBPoints for entry access. The cost is 100 CFBPoints per contest/week.
